T-Minus 7 days to Arizona

Everytime I think about updating this blog I get busy doing something else to really hunker down and write something interesting in here. bleh.

So here we are seven days before we move to Arizona. I haven't quite packed much stuff. More cleaning than packing I would say. I've been putting baby stuff on Craigslist to see if I can sell off some of her things we don't use anymore.

Reese is excited about moving, but he's mostly sad to lose his friends. We have been talking with him about his new school and our new house. But when you're 8 and having to leave the home you've always known, it's traumatic no matter how you look at it.

Bailey has had her birthday bash and Reese wanted to go to Chuck e Cheese to celebrate with his friends. My job is coming to an end this next week on Tuesday. I have a couple of interviews set up at the beginning of August in Phoenix. I can't even think about the month of August right now... I think I'm stuck in July 2008 because this was THE end of our time in California.

Speaking of moving out of California. Our good friends Lisa and Roy and their son Andrew are also moving out of the state. They are going to Tennessee within about 6 months and totally looking forward to it. I am really gonna miss them once we're all in different states. Bailey is surely going to miss her 'An-noo'.
